Sonographer/Radiographer Locum - Experience the Rural Northern Territory
- Two Locum roles: July to August and November to January
- Assistance with Travel/Accommodation
Based in a 60 bed hospital, you will be a part of a 4 person department that provides the sole Medical Imaging service for the entire area, including the private practice. Visiting a number of health centres throughout the region, you will be afforded the opportunity to work within Aboriginal communities, and either provided with a 4 wheel drive vehicle or even flown to some sites. There is no onsite Radiologist and all reporting is completed in Darwin.
To take on this rare challenge, you will:
- Be an ASAR-accredited Sonographer and AIR-accredited Radiographer by the above dates
- Possess experience in General and Obstetrics Ultrasound, and General X-Ray
- Ideally, have a Driver's Licence
- An ABN will be highly regarded but is not essential
